wow thats awesome! first time i ever competed, been shooting for 2 months, and earlier this week i shot a 284 BHFS. What can i say im a newbie. But i was happy with that. Really nervous shooting infront of everyone. That'll have to be something i ned to get over for sure. But for now 284 aint bad for me.

thats  a good start my goal is to break the state records this year in BHFS.. that 294 was my worst round in 2 years  but *censored* happens, I average a 298-300 on a vegas and a 300 on bluface with 55-60x.....  after this weekend I will be putting the hunting bow down and shooting at least 2 rounds a day to get back into the swing for the season... a anything less then a 298 will nto cut it for me

What's this all about and where do you shoot at?  Sounds like it would be fun...

state is usually at archery world and up north somewhere, they shoot 2 diff spots.. then mail in can be shot anywhere as long as you have a range witness to verify the scrore, then the shoot ups are all over here at xxx,  archery world, achers afield etc

State last year was at Wilderness archery I believe.  298-300 in the BHFS class would have taken the 1st place trophy last year.  Was that you that took first?

I can wait for league to began, Last year I was only shooting in 260-280. It was my first time shooting in 8 years and with a release, and my damn shoulder would give out half way though. :bash: I think I'm ready this year :dunno:

I have been waiting for league to start and now it looks like I will miss the first three weeks. The wifes work schedule and kids keeps me for making it some times.
Demontang where do you shoot league? I have been shooting at AS & J for just under two years. It's been tons of fun.

your kidding right? you have no idea how hard it is to compete at a high level, shooting a animal is 10x easier at least.. and I have shot my share.. but when you have a target the size of a dime to hit and have thousands of people watching you and lot and lots of money on the line...... thats harder then arrowing any big bull that comes in screaming

Its a lot harder then you think, and it help when you do have an animal in front of you because you know that you can hit the vitals with no problem. :twocents:

WSAA has changed things up a little this year. All mail in score must be shot at a registered location, timed ends, double scored by WSAA members, shooter cannot sign either card as a scorer. If ya have any questions, give Tim Davis a call.
