The one in the picture was about 50ft from the paddocks, our 900lb beasts probably thought it was one of our dogs. They were more interested in their hay!

Where abouts are you located?

Gotcha. I figured you were over by me in Lake Stevens. I'm in the middle of a pretty large horse zone over here.  Thought maybe we was neighbors.

Need some quick recommendations. The pups around me have grown up and last few nights the young ones have been going off around my place. My property borders tree farm so plenty of routes to my place. A few nights ago the they were barking so loud and close they seem to be closing in. This morning one of my dogs caught up with one it was young as I could see through my scope. Not a clear shot nor would I have taken it anyway with my dog so close on its tail and it was 150 yards away. They have been challenge barking and in the morning I plan to set my alpha dog call out but not sure which call to use. Should I use a challenge call or something else. These are this year's pups and they seem to be learning the ropes and doing whatever they can to draw my dogs to them. Any input is appreciated.

Try dog barks. Even your dog barking may do it
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!
