Drawn for Bull Tag Peaches Ridge!!
« on: July 22, 2014, 03:10:25 PM »
After trying to draw a bull tag for close to twenty years on the Colockum, put in for Peaches and was drawn!  My excitement has turned a little towards fear as I don't wont to screw this up, as I've never hunted GMU 336, 346 before.  Will begin scouting in two weeks.  The hunt starts Oct. 20th, should have plenty of time to learn from any advise you may give me.    I refuse to be "one of those guys" who draws a tag, and screw other hunters out of an opportunity by not putting in the time and effort.   So to all you Peaches hunters.. I'm going to give this opportunity all the respect it deserves.
Thanks for all your help!!

Good draw! 20 years of putting in you must have some stories to tell of other big game hunts to share with Hunt WA?

:yeah: I'll be scouting the peaches and will be happy to swap info. You got some big shoes to fill. Congrats on your tag. I think plenty of guys more familiar with the peaches ridge will offer info or assistance through PM's. I'm excited to see how this hunt plays out for the op.

Check out the memorial link under virtual campfire you will see what all the comments are about.  "colockumelk" was a great contributing member of the forum that lost his life serving our country in Afghanistan.  He was respected by most and is truly missed by many.  I am sure you were unaware of his history when you choose your screen name and just wanted to give you the heads up on what many on commenting on.

Good luck on your hunt.
