Bear season
« on: July 24, 2014, 09:37:46 PM »
Boy I'm excited for August to get here! Unfortunately I am on call the weekend of the opener but I'm going to sneak out anyways and atleast get in a day of hunting. Located a nice bear bout 15 mins from the house so am hoping he's going to be wandering around the woods where he's hanging out. Good luck to everyone! If anyone needs help around Monroe shoot me a PM and if I'm able I will ya out.

Would shooting a bear where someone dumped a bunch of garbage on a logging road be considered baiting?  :chuckle:

I am pretty sure you would have some explaining to do. Even if you did not dump the garbage.

Went up into a new area this afternoon and the buckle berries are everywhere. The blackberries are still green for the most part just a few of them turning red. Heading back up in the mornin to check out the other side of the hill that was cut a few years ago.
