early archery \ Morton, Randle, Packwood.

I've been scouting the public lands all around that area. Can anyone point me in the right direction to talking to land owners or anyone who lives in the area of Morton, Randle, or Packwood? I would love to find access to private land hunting in the area, or even learn a little more information about the public lands.

I'd call the Fish and Wildlife office in Morton.   They have probably handed out some damage permits to some landowners in the area and might be able to steer you in the right direction.    A lot of landowners are a little more willing to give bow hunters permission to hunt than they are gun/muzzleloader hunters.   Good luck.

I believe you can hunt the National Forest south of Randle and Packwood all you want.  It's a big area and there's a lot of elk in there.
