I found a 30-30 a few yrs back while bear hunting,it had spent at least a season on the ground.Anyway I ran alot of break free and wire brushed the inside, then took it out and tied it to a stump and shot it three times.took it home and tore it all the way down ,got busy and now I cant remember how it goes back together.Anyone in the puyallup area no a good gunsmith.I really want them to check it out and make sure its safe

Interesting, wish the gun could tell its story on why it was left out there. Sorry I have no idea about a gunsmith on the westside. :dunno:
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I wonder about it,it was on an old donkey grade covered with some brush that looked like it had been cut for quite some time.I was hiking into a drainage that had a large bear in there and noticed a piece of wood that looked out of place.I picked it up, it was the stock, the butt was split.the timber company changed hands.I thought whoever lost it might be the brush cutter, maybe fell off the machine.I was going to turn it in to the cops but changed my mind.
