Eastside deer and elk camp. all invited!
« on: April 25, 2014, 05:13:04 PM »
You westside boys seem to be having all the fun get togethers.
Most of my hunting partners have moved on out of state, or are no longer hunting, I thought I would extend a invite to my dwindled camp, and maybe make some new friends closer to home (tri cities) that want to get together for scouting, camping, hunting etc.

I have an area I have been sucesful with in the past for elk with modern, last year I did late season with muzzle loader, this year I plan on doing regular and late season though.

not looking for honey holes, or camp laborers, kids and wifes always welcome.

at least for this year yeah, I messed around and never pulled the trigger on a multi season deer tag, I havent bow hunted before, though I am ready to start, this year im sticking with the modern for elk to let my gf go see if its something she will want to do again, and the muzzleloader for deer as I already have plans in place for that.

Next year it may be all bets off and do multi season for deer and archery for elk though.  :IBCOOL:

Do you hunt private ground for elk? Not looking for your honey hole, just curious. I have private land I hunt near Kahlotus and they get elk every once and a while. PM me if you want to talk huntin' in that area.

I forgot all about this thread!

I hunt elk in the rimrock unit, deer in kahlotus for late ml. Still haven't nailed down a spot for the early ml deer season yet. Probably figure that out tomorrow if work isn't busy.
