Sorry for the lack of updates , I'm trying to get a little work done between hunts. So far It's been a blast all in all I have pasted in the neighborhood of 40 good bulls looking for a giant . truth be told I've past a few jaw droppers in hopes of a 400 class bull . one bull I was on may have been him but in really thick cover I just couldn't id him (35 yards). so as of right now I'm resting on elk waiting for a bit later in the month. My focus has been on deer the last three weeks . it's been good and my friends and I have put eyes on some really nice bucks but just not the one . With the rut ramping up I'm optimistic something good will happen in the next couple of weeks . All in all I have spent 35 days in the field since sept 1st and haven't slept in once .  I have been able to spend time with good buddy's new and old and speak with some members on here expanding my network of good guys . Ric has my ram and did me a huge solid by getting him plugged so I could get back to work , Thanks again buddy. I have been hunting some areas in hopes but really waiting for two or three to open up for entry so we will just see how that goes. Thanks for reading along and following the journey . by the way if any of you know of a good way to keep the wife happy let me know ..

scotts bar and grill , was pretty good . I ordered her up some extra sides of steamers and scallops lil buggers where like six bucks apiece . I said that's like shooting my 6.5 then I thought better and shut up.
