  so whats the next post? "I passed a bull that was only 399 7/8"....I snuck in while he was sleeping and put tape on him..he wasn't over 400 so I let him sleep"

No Coach ripped a bugle about 45 minutes before the end of shooting light, took off at the reply without flashlight, pack or water bottle and ended up about 4 miles from the truck in the dark.  The jackwagon in the Ford on the way to Gatlinburg saw him humping down the road about 2.5 miles from the truck on the road in the dark without a light.... Coach said "hey!" and the guy drove on by.  Breaks every backwood code I know.  The jackwagon then came down the hill where I was sitting in the truck with shootem hoping to hear a signal from Coach waiting for him and he stopped on the road and then drove off when I opened my door.  Never did know until we got a signal bugle from coach and headed up the other road.  Jackwagon in a Ford I hope I don't see you again.

That's even worse....sorry that happened coach...how can anyone just drive on by without at least stopping to say hi.....I met up with 2 guys on a walk in and they were a few miles from their truck and just hiked their butts off, I walked out with them to my truck and offered a ride back to theirs and they were very greatful and gave me some tips on the area since it was my first there.....some people can be real aholes

Your latest issue with the guy in the ford reminds me of 2011 when I shot a cow and my partner grabbed the bows and headed 5 miles all up hill to get the packs and drive the truck down.  5 different rigs drove right by her and never offered a ride.  A couple even stopped to chat and verify she had an elk down then said adios and drove off.

Code of the woods be damned when there's road huntin' to do.
