I wonder if it was staged.  Kind of convenient that the guy would have a rag handy to wipe off the paint.  And it is odd that an animal hadn't triggered the paint before the guy got there. 

If he really was a trespasser, he got what he deserved.

I call BS .. I think the guy set it up on himself  Plus I think there are laws for booby trapping someone and he did look at the other camera that was filming him when he 1st leaned the gun against the tree

Whether it was real or not I don't know or care it would be funny as hell to get someone.  You guys you can say he will sue but he was warn private property then don't walk on the guys property!  It didn't hurt him no different then a store with ink tags that explode if you tamper!  The audio is funny as hell.

I just read the Deer and Deer Hunting link.  The landowner also got ticketed for the explosive device (criminal mischief).  I think its complete BS that the criminals are the ones who have the most protection mostly on the civil side of the house but also in some cases criminal penalties.  If it was posted land it should not matter, heck even if its not posted.  That implied easement crap is hilarious, similar to squatters rights, that just goes to show people how screwed up the system is.
