Bowhunters near Smokey Point/Marysville
« on: May 27, 2014, 10:31:41 PM »
Well this is my second attempt at looking for a hunting partner near my area (I live at lake goodwin). I am looking for someone to hunt all archery seasons with, I did a lot of solo hunting last year and would enjoy company.  I am 29 and in the military, i get off at decent hours for afternoon hunts (1300) but take vacation days for ELK or other planned trips.  My son cant quite draw back 40 lbs yet maybe another year so this season Ill be at it alone again.  If anyone is near me and wants to stop by the house and talk bow hunting plans over some Bairdi Crab let me know.

Ted

Hey Coastie, I saw this post a while back and didn't respond because I'm not really looking for a new partner but saw that you had no responses so if your still looking for some company to hunt with I'm game. I mostly film my other partners hunting but also hunt if by myself. I'm 32 and like to hike a distance into my spots and the animals we shoot are usually down in some pretty nasty area so if you are willing to work up a sweet if that sounds ok to you let me know. I always enjoy meeting other hunters and I also archery hunt.

Archery clubs and shoots are a great way to meet hunting partners.  Only a few shoots left this year Granite falls sportsmans this weekend and ceadar river bowman next weekend.  I'll be at both.

Coastie....

Take a look in the events sections. There is a bbq coming up soon that is a good way to put some names to faces. Quite a few of us around locally.

I apologize I haven't really replied to anyone.  My ships in Dry Dock now in Portland.  We were all figuring it would be in seattle or Bellingham but nope.  So I will be living in portland the next 2 month and hunting out of there.
