going camping in Randell area

So im going on a camping trip this weekend in the Randal area and im hoping to do a little scouting in the area for Elk,i don't know area real well and i was hoping for some advise where to start looking,i will be camping at the north fork camp ground if that helps,thanks in advance

Drove thru Packwood twice over last month and seen 20 or so elk hanging near town 1 or 2 spikes. Seen bout 15 cows outside of Randall near fire station.

Take a drive and get up high.  Saw alot of elk up there few weeks ago.  Go past Adams creek campground.  Good luck.

thanks a bunch mudman,looks like our campground isn't to far off from were your talking about,should be a good weekend with the super moon and meteor shower going also  :tup:
