Finally got to the river!
« on: September 10, 2014, 12:42:05 PM »
My schedule finally stabilized for September so I took the opportunity to head to my favorite local river and try my hand...well I came home with 19lbs of salmon for 3 hours of fishing!  :IBCOOL:

Hopefully I can get out a few more times over the next couple weeks before October and my work schedule goes bat dung crazy again!  :yike:

If it was indeed a local river to Arlington where he can keep kings, it had to be under a float and include bait... just sayin

"Local" is a relative term  :chuckle: The float rules pertained to this river last season but changed back this season for what I do which is throw spinners during tidal changes.

I thought Kangs were kings that lived in the great lakes?  Maybe he's from Detroit.

Did you get em on lake stevens with green power bait under a float? Craykings love green power bait.

Good work getting them on something other than eggs though! Spinner fishing for kings can be a kick in the pants. We used to do really well up there twitching jigs when that was allowed.
