I may be able to go, I need to check with the boss (wife). I have a buddy that lives in Yakima that wants to go out sometime too, we were actually trying to get a plan together. I would probably be down there sat and sun.

Spur,

Very generous of you.  My boy and I would be interested but it will all depend on the weather and travel conditions over the hill.  I've got 18 DZ's and 3 x-landrs.

By the way...I am a waterfowl virgin! The only thing I can call is coyotes, and I am not too sure of that at times.

Spur can call, go and have fun! I am kinda getting a bad feeling that this hunt is gonna end up at one of the "secret" spots I showed Spur a year or two ago! I have found that a lot of Spurs friends are out there a lot. I would like to get out more, but time is very limited! I would like to get out on Spur's friends hot spots sometime.

I can't wait.  What shot size do you guys recommend out in the fields?  I just want to make sure I bring the right stuff.  I currently use 2, BB, BBB's.

2's, BB's, and BBB's are all fine. I use BB's my self. Just talked to Spur on the phone. He is scouting a few fields in the area, should be some good fun! P.S., I am kinda protective of a few duck holes, as they are all slowly getting over hunted more and more every year! The duck hunting is not like it was 15 years ago!

3 1/2 or 3, I have a benelli pump.  I shoot the 3 1/2 a lot but still have a ton of 3 inches that I need to use.

Hopefully it will be slight warmer by January 4th.   National weather service is saying it could reach a high of 4 degrees there on Friday.  Whooo its going to be a cold one.  Should make it nice for hunting this weekend.
