Place to cool
« on: August 18, 2014, 11:14:07 AM »
I grew up on a farm and have always processed my own meat. If I am fortunate enough to harvest a deer or elk this year, I would like to do the same. My question is, is there a place to hang the meat till I want to process? I know most places want you to have them cut it if you hang it. Any suggestions?

There's a Red House with a detached shop which is Red as well in Hobart Wa. If coming from Hwy 18 just past the store on the left this Red place is just past a little ways on the right. They have a real nice cooler there. He use to let me hang meat there for cheap until I came to pick up and cut ourselves. No idea if the same people live there or not? They made sausages and stuff there as well. Always enjoyed talking with them when there. Maybe some research on your end will find out if it is still in use?
