I just got lucky with mine...I hunted with someone that knows bears well..right place at right time...find berries and wait and watch

Well, it's in the 200 lb range I'd say around a 5.5-6ft boar. I think that's a great 1st bear let alone a second one! If it makes you happy, the trophy is in the eyes of the beholder. Hope it works out for you, all I know my knives would be gettin to work!!! :tup:

I'm seeing decent spread on his ears. Boars can look leggy, which isn't always a bad thing. His ears are big, which tells us he's no booner,  but the spread says he's no baby. I will guess 165# which is a decent bear. Given opportunity, and unless you are seeing some monsters in the area. ....I'd say shoot.

I know for sure that there is one in the same area that would eat this one for a snack...I'm going to have a hard time holding out for that one if this guy steps out in front of me
