Fresh Whitetail mount Charlies Taxidermy

Here is a pretty cool whitetail my buddy killed last year, I finally found a form that he liked. I just mounted this buck 2 days ago so there is absolutely no finish work done, it is drying as we speak! I really liked the mount so I thought I would share with you all! I will post pics in a month or so when it is finished

Looks awesome even if you haven't done any detail work yet. The way the hide bunches at the base of neck really sells it. I've got a nice whitetail I regret not having mounted and I might just have you do the same thing if I shoot another decent one to steal the hide from. Thanks for sharing.

looks great charlie  i like it. I'm working on my Buddy's (finally) and i got a wild hair so i cut up the form turned the neck and made it aggressive head downand it looks a lot like that form. hope mine turns out half as good as your unfinished mount
