Sausage stuffer ??
« on: August 20, 2014, 04:52:11 PM »
So are the stuffers that are shaped like an elbow any good?  I assume the straight up-and-down ones are probably better  :dunno:
Not going to be doing any production work just minor home stuff. What's your opinion

Get at least a 5lb stuffer. Just because you want to spend time stuffing not filling.  ;) Grizzly tools has them for a reasonable price $50 I think.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.

the elbow shaped suffers are OK at best. like said before, get one that holds 5 lbs and spray the inside with PAM, it will allow the plunger to slide easier.

DO NOT BUY AN ELBOW Stuffer like the Westin Cast curved Stuffer. Do yourself a favor and buy the vertical stuffer. The elbow stuffer is a pain in the ass to use and too much meat passes by the plunger. You can get a Grizzly vertical stuffer pretty close to what you pay for the Elbow stuffer. It is way easier and more efficient to use.

Just my 2 :twocents:
