I realy like the 2" vanes, There even a test some where that shows the differents the 2" blazer have over other typs of vanes at 50yd's. In the test they shot like 8" higher then the other vanes. I know they shoot a lot flater for me.

I would have to agree with Hoytstaffshooter83 I like the Blazers. I shoot Carbon Express Maxima 250 with blazers. I found out they work best for me with my whisker biscuit

So how much do they slow down your arrow at 40yds, did you chronograph the loss, Helical fletch or offset? This gets debated a lot, but I have never seen any actual chronographed data. It makes sense that a helical fletch or fletch with more surface area would be slower but how much. I would guess the style of fletch has more effect then the surface area in this comparison. I personally started with offset fletch and went to Helical, and would never go away from Helical for the accuracy gain. Anyone know of some hard data on this?

i havent chrono'd my bow at different distances, but about 1 yard out of the bow with regular 4 inch veins my bow shoots about 260-263 with the quickspins it shoots about 249-252, im shooting easton axis 340's by the way so ill build some with the blazers and see how they fly.

Before your sold on the Blazers, I'd try them side by side with the 2" Flex Fletch Flash Vanes....

I just got set up to shoot FOB's. The logic seems pretty good and they shoot well so far. I was shooting 4" four fletch on 485 grain arrows with broad heads. Not enough time yet to give a yeah or neah. They will be easier to fix/ replace, that's for sure.
I should be shooting some broadheads with them here shortly. I'll get feedback out right after.

I shot 4" vanes for years...last year was my first for blazers.
I was a believer! Blazers are a huge improvement...after I switched, so did all my shooting buddies. Not so much for decreased drag, but less wind deflection.
Now, I'm addicted to FOB's.
