Uh, Hello, where is the story? We want to know where you got it, the stalk, the shot, the adrenalin rush.........we want it all. Stick to the facts though, no lies or enhancements  please. This sight is reserved for honest folks only.

okay who's ready for the story?
We got kinda a late start up the mountain (waiting on stag he's like a girl never ready on time).  When we finally do get to the gate there is a explore parked there great someone is already here :bash:.  Nope just your friendly tweaker out for a walk.  His explore was smashed all down the passenger side dash ripped apart and junk all over in side.  My first thought was it was stolen and dumped but then he comes our tweaker friend out of the woods talking to himself.  We said hello and marched on up the hill.  We get close to the 2 mile mark and take a peak over the edge at our first real good lookout.  That's when I spotted the bear heading up through the clear cut across the bowl approximately about 300 yds.  Bear gets to a good spot and I touched one off shooting from my tripod.  Bear flips around and starts down the hill we then took quick follow up shots.  Bear probably only made it 60-80 yards down the hill before coming to his final resting place.  Bear was hit multiple times but if there moving I'm still shooting.

Now you are calling him stag...i'm starting to wonder about you guys... :chuckle:

Nothing like an easier pack out than last year huh..

Geeze, not even a shoutout for some excellent backup shooting?

How about for coaxing your lazy arse down the hill?

Here's the real dialogue from the walk out:

D-Rock: "Wha wa hwa :'( Stang, my shoulder hurts from carrying this stupid bear out on a stick"

Stang: "Its okay, we're almost there"

D-Rock: "Now my back, legs, arms, hands, AND hips hurt"

Stang: "Its okay D-Rock, we're going to make it through this."

D-Rock: "I hurt so bad but I'm really excited for my mini bear rug"

Stang:  "Taking this thing out with the fur on is stupid and now you're feeling stupid hurt."

D-Rock: " :'( "

D-Rock: (thinking) "Stang is really a badazz.  His backpack is far better than mine and he's super strong"

Stang: (thinking) "I can't believe D-Rock hauls around a tiny little gun like this, what a wimp."

Then we drank gatorade and settled our differences as we enjoyed being back at the car before midnight with a whole bear over a non-stolen vehicle.

To accent D-Rock's sentiment, the tweaker was... wearing gym shoes with the tongue popped out, wearing a jersey and a hat backwards, talking loudly to himself, and said "REALLY!?!" when he first saw us and then "Hi" when we said hi.  His car looked like he had tried to steal it from himself before he realized it was his...
