Here is an expensive deer the wife got during the general season.  Unfortunately it was right at dark and the coyotes got to the cape before we did.  She made an excellent shot at him running down hill at ~230 yds.

Had to battle a few other hunting parties (the price you pay for hunting open land) but was able to sneak this 3x3 out from under em and put him in the freezer. Not the "trophy" buck I was looking to bag this year but by far the best tasting buck to date! In fact cooking up some back strap as I type this :) Grats to everyone who tagged out and good luck to those still working on it.
