Mark can easily run wherever the fish are... he does it every day. The fish have been south a ways this year, a buddy had to go down to the 25 line to find them this weekend, but never went past the 125 line. I've fished down to the 17 line in my boat from westport, makes for a very long run but no one has been having to go that far this year. If they were, Mark could certainly make that run... no problem.

To plug the boat its just how many fish the boat can hold and keep cool in ice. 40 would not plug Marks boat, he just got 80 the other day. It depends on how big the fish are though, I've had 46 plug my boat and also had just over 30 and no where to put anymore.

The fishing has been phenomenal lately (all summer long actually). I would bet good money your arms will be sore after your trip.

Im sure everything will work out. But Mark cant run everywere the fish are. I was on his boat when we couldent! Seas were a bit too much for a run off the Big C. We fished alone off Guides canyon and saw no other boats and caught 2 fish. The Charters were SW and tearing it up.

I'd get red ledge light weight rain gear and extra tough boots. I ran this gear on the bearing sea for years. If you get cold you can add sweatshirt. The drawback is you might only get 2-4 weeks of fishing with them before they start to leak. When I used to commercial fish I would wear heavy bibs like grunden or guy cotton during the winter and light weight pants during the summer salmon season. Always wore the light weight top  because comfort and mobility mattered more than longevity. For about $40 each you will have all the rain gear you should need for August. Bring some large rubber bands to put around your ankles over your pants. It keeps the waves from shooting up your pants into your boots. Wet boots and socks are the worst.

You're gonna need Alieve/Advil more than bibs, he brought back 94 to the dock yesterday.
