Shotgun Question
« on: August 22, 2014, 01:50:52 PM »
I have an old H and R single 20ga I inherited from my father inlaw and the bead sight is missing. Can I get a replacement and just glue it in? There is a hole but it is not chamfered does it need to be? Do not want to spend much since it is not in the best condition but I would like to have my son shoot grouse with it. Thanks

probably had a press-in bead, i would think you'd be fine gluing one in if you can't find a suitable replacement.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
