think i goofed up ??

went out sunday evening and made a mistake I think ? I was sitting atop a clear cut for a while and right before sun went down I heard branches busting and all sorts of noise even deep exhails / inhails so im fairly sure it was a bear and waited and waited for him to poke out tree line was 50 yards away ... this is when I goofed I think ... I started pred calling ...to get him to hurry up caus I was running out of daylight at this time ... so either he knew something was up and pred call was a foney or he/ she winded me .. idk what the case is in this one I took note of wind tho and it seemed like it was hitting the side of my face not my back but Idk maybe he just wasnted hungry for a rabbit haha what are youre thoughts ? should I hang the pred call up for another month or so
did I make a mistake on trying to call him out ?

I'm no expert but I think with the bear that close you might have tried something quieter, like a elk call or something.
