Turbo nocks

Has anybody here tried turbo nocks? I have heard they are excellent for broadheads, but not from a real reliable source.

Check out FOB's too.  I have shot the turbo nocks - they are slower than 4" vanes due to drag.  The down side was that they whistle - like those whistling Nerf footballs.

Thanks for the input... It sounds from another thread that the 2" Blazer Vanes are the way to go in the future.

That they are, fobs are the rage for like a month every year then people realize they are more of a pain in the ass then anything and it goes away for another 11 months.. blazer vanes are the way to go.....

i tried feathers this year and i think they will ride my arrows full time

they are great indoors, but I would not use them outside, once they get wet its not a good thing....

thats what i heard, so i soaked some and tried them out.. to 30 yards they flew the same. didn't try them any farther wet. i also used the camp dry spray on them and that helped keep them from soaking up as much water. i have some on my 3d arrows right now too, but havent shot that bow yet with them.

I also tried some outside and put the water proof on them, didnt last long, not worth the effort IMO.. plenty of other options are just as accurate as well

Been shooting the FOBs a bunch the last month.  Love em - Will be shooting with broad heads this week to confirm all is good.  They are a tad slower than regular vanes as I dropped about a 10" lower at 60 yds with the FOBs, but that was easy enough to deal with.  If you make contact with another arrow, they just pop off with the nock, then you just pop it right back on - slick.  Easy to track down if you miss your target too... they slow the arrow way down when they make contact with the ground.  I've been putting 5 of 6 on target in a grouping the size of a paper plate from 60.  If I would hit the release before I drop the bow to see where I hit  , I bet the sixth would be in there too.  Did it three sets in a row

My question about the Turbo Nock is: What happens when the arrow tries to fully pentrate the target i.e. deer ? Does the nock pop off or does it prevent total pass through?

2'' blazers with an off set sure do work for me.....some of the folks on here recommended them to me after I was having some broadhead flight issues with reg 4" straight fletching, as of now I'm sticking withem since they are performing so well.
