Can't wait for that day.  My daughter is seven and shooting bows already.....it will be a few more years till she is ready to hunt with a bow though.  I am definitely envious.  Hope she smacks a fatty and can't wait to see pics.

Sounds that way....I love hearing parents talk about their kids this way.  You wouldn't believe how many parents never speak words of love to or about their children.   I don't even know you and I can tell, you are a stand up guy.      You sir are a "Great" dad for sharing this great sport with your girls.

Good luck to the young lady.  Hopefully we'll see a pic and a story soon about the hunt. :)

P.S. don't let her shoot straight up in the air like she's doing in that picture.  It's dangerous. :chuckle:

Good luck.  I'm a lot older and I'll be trying to do the same in a few days!  I'm really hoping I too can get a first deer and that it will be using my bow.

Good on ya Jason! Can't wait til my boy is old enough to get out there with me.  He's 5 months old now and has been on a hike so far so we're getting somewhere.  :)

I hope you guys get on that group of bucks you were on last year.  Let us know how it goes.

Very true you have to grow with them and let them explore all things and be right there to pick them up.

Saw two deer in an area you are familiar with. A nice doe at 69 yards....no shot. Also, a possible buck about 250 out.

If you head out there I'd hang out low....by the grassy road in and above the little marshy area.  The doe had come up from below and was up by the treeline. Also...down in the lower cuts waiting for them to come out of the timber.
