It really depends on what you are trying to do with them.You can use Windows Explorer and select Large Icons for viewing and delete in batches or by selection.

I don't edit mine...just save them or delete them. I don't ever need to resize either. Maybe just where I have the settings at with my camera. I've gone through +/-10k pictures throughout the summer this way.
