Yotes yipping
« on: September 06, 2014, 12:31:22 AM »
So I just moved to richland and sitting on the back porch hearing beautiful music of coyotes begging to be shot. Problem is when I drive around all I see are no trespassing signs and all around unwelcomeness.

What's a non local country boy to do? Hard enough to find access to fish the Yak without trespassing inadvertently let alone stretch my 243... I saw a dead coyote on the 240 to Hanford reach but that doesn't look legal to hunt either.

All you can do is ask. I have no trespassing signs up around my property to but if a guy came up to me and asked for permission to chase down some of my yotes or bears that live in the area, I'd say yes.

Plenty of public land in this state as well that hold predators to pick off.

If you see somewhere you want to go, find out who owns it and ask.  You might be surprised how friendly some of us locals can be.
