Central Okanogan 2nd deer tag help
« on: September 09, 2014, 06:36:32 PM »
Quick story. My daughter drew a 2nd deer tag for central Okanogan. Shortly after drawing it she decided to run cross country for our local high school. All of the weekends of this hunt there was a meet scheduled until they just dropped the meet for this weekend. (13th-14th) I did no scouting or contacting landowners figuring we wouldn't be able to hunt but now I'm scrambling to find a place. If anyone has a place or knows of someone who would let a young lady tag a doe we'd be very appreciative. Willing to trade salmon, wild blackberry pie, or fur for help!

How did things work out?
Left here (Bellingham) at 1:45 am, met Brien at 5:45 (Omak), my daughter shot her deer around 8 ish, skinned and quartered it at his place, back home by 3:30 pm. Typical of my experience of hunting with him.  :chuckle:   I'll post some pics and maybe the video of the shot later.

Awsome love seeing that. Leaving Colville. Going towards Republic. Seen nice bears. Just couldn't get shots. Have my permit to. Couple more days on bear. Then I will hit Omak probly camp at Conconally. Nice story. Warehorse is a great guy. Rick
