Has anyone shot a cat they caught on their deer cam?
« on: November 11, 2014, 10:17:15 PM »
I unexpectedly had a coug show up on my cam last week. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of a big buck and I smeared doe estrus gel on some buck rubs and hunt the cam. Well this coug showed up instead. Is there a real chance I could get her? Would you bait? Call?

I had 4 different lions on one of my cameras last year. I know 2 cats got killed in the general area. I'm not sure if they were the same as what was on my cam.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

Buck man, how did you target the coug once you saw it on cam?
