Jeez did I miss something?  All I saw was pics of some nice fish and some suspect English skills.  To be honest I have reread a lot of post on huntwa to figure out what the heck someone is trying to say because of terrible English.  Not sure how those pics and his post make him flosser, poacher, litter bug who's getting rivers and somehow shooting spots shutdown.  There has to be something better to get pissed off about

Just this:
The Puyallup fish can't see, except the few thousands caught in the mouth.
Everyone on the puyallup is a flossed,
No they are not
Yes they are
Flossing is not illegal
Yes it is, flossing is snagging
no it not
Snagging is using a lure loaded with trebles and ripped over the fish
Flossing is poaching
No it
They are hatchery fish going to the dog food maker
Good kill all hatchery fish
Now we have master fisher people that have to accompany all fisher uh dudes
But no one knows if those fish were flossed
On the puyallup, had to be
No they don't

I think that about sums it up

So no you did not miss a thing

LOL

you forgot about bashing the OP

And that's where it all started, and probably should have ended.

since when did a corky, yarn and smelly jelly mean someone is flossing? thats what i fish with and im by no means flossing... now a trebble hook and a buzz bomb that would be flossing
The Puyallup is a flossery all the way.  It's legal and I've done it myself so I'm not going to knock it.  But anyone who thinks salmon fishing in 1-2" water visibility by drifting an 8' leader across the Puyallup entices fish to bite clearly is not aware of how this fishery works.  That rig does nothing more than floss the gaping mouths of salmon swimming up the river and hooking them.  The fish are completely unaware of the rig until it hooks them.  Color of the corkie and the additional of smelly jelly don't matter one bit.

My personal opinion is that flossing = snagging, the intent is to snag the fish in a manner that appears legal; thereby getting around existing law.

It's almost impossible to prove intent unless you willingly admit you're a flosser/snagger.  We have several admitting illegal activity on this thread now  :chuckle:

The question is should flossing be made legal?   Snagging is already illegal as we all know, but should a method of snagging be made legal (flossing) ??

The fact that the intent is basically impossible to prove makes application of the current law almost unenforceable, so in practicality- it is legal.

You guys need to realize one thing ..We all think we know how to fish , rather it be by using bait - lures or flossing .. Flossing takes great skill and most guys who never done it would not have no clue how to do it ... JUST SAYING  :chuckle: :chuckle:  Trust me I have seen it and been around it but there were a few times when I went off on guys walking up to a hole I was fishing and were flossing and catching fish about every try .. it does peeeeeeese a guy off .
