Wow, someone that can hike deep into the backcountry solo and kill large animals on a constant basis with traditional gear.. extremely impressive to me. True hunter. Congratulations, awesome buck.

That is such a great story Bone. Not just the hunt and animal you were blessed with, but the sacrifices you had to make in order to hunt a truly magnificent animal. Many of us struggle with going hunting, or watching our children play sports.  :bash: Damn Soccer! I had to miss last years hunt because my daughter was playing in the State Championship Game.(UT). But I wouldn't have missed watching the game for a 200" Buck. Her team won!  Again...Thank you for telling your story, and getting my huntnblood boiling real good for this years hunt. Utah San Juan Unit. I'll be able to make my hunt this year even if they make it to state again! I hope the Soccer Gods are blessing your daughters in their games!. Thanks again Bone

Stud buck for sure and a great story.  Thanks so much for sharing.

Man that is a beautiful deer and so symmetrical.

Bone! Congrats! What a beauty!!!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.
