Had to put my lab down.
« on: September 14, 2014, 12:26:28 PM »
Received a text from my wife yesterday am but didn't actually see it till 9pm (no srv where I was hunting). Our younger lab collapsed and wasn't doing well. Her larynx was paralyzed and her tongue turning blue and she was choking.  Her condition was very advanced unfortunately. The vet was able to sedate her to keep her calm till I got home. We took her into the vet today had to say goodbye. She was a sweet lab and was 9 years old. Rip to Maggie.   :'(

Per the vet not uncommon in large breed dogs. Affected her breathing, gate and the way she walked.
