Dec Hogan surely is a Legend.  Back in High School I interviewed him for a paper I was doing, very interesting fellow he was.  He used to spend the entire season up at Howard Miller Steelhead park on the Skagit guiding and fishing, a real flyfishing fanatic.  He has been gone for years now.  We just lost another Skagit river Legend, Rob Ensley.  He no longer guides for winter skagit river steelhead.  To wet and cold he went south and guides down in Mexico now in the Winter.
