Fathers day weekend this year, we were the first to pull in to camp a few days early. My wife looked in to the fire pit and it was full of broken/melted glass beer bottles. I filled and emptied up 5, 5 gallon buckets and took them to the dumpster down at the air strip on RR Lake.

Probably hunters from rifle season, its an are where a big camp can be set up and I have only seen rifle hunters or jeepers camp there and it was to early in the season to be jeepers, the trails were still closed.

This stuff happens, it sad, but I guess all we can do is take down in from the camps close to us and if they leave this type of mess, take note, pic and report it.

Probably PRO WOLF lovers campsite. I bet they were up there listening for a wolf howling, got drunk and wanted to blame the hunters.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

How about a baseball or football game. The stadium is a dump site.
No accountability in this country any more. More LEO is needed.

That statement makes me cringe. We have got to quit thinking that more government, law enforcement, lawyers, etc. is going to solve problems that are due to lack of personal responsibility and accountability. We can never "arrest" our way out of this type of behavior. It has to be part of our culture.

This is a great example of "be careful what you wish for".

I totally dissagree. More LEO w/more tickets and arrests made means more accountability. We used to have more LEO per capita but it's been reduced as everything else manpower wise has. It seems today that human nature is to take full advantage of whatever you can. I see this in all aspects of life especially traffic. No enforcement and it gets worse every day. With enforcement comes accountability.
Do not misunderstand me, I never said we needed more government so please, don't put words in my mouth.

I would consider any Leo a branch of the government.  Wether state, city , county or federal they are all the government.  Having more police patrol the city isn't going to curtail crimes.  Defiantly won't stop litter in The woods.

This is just an example of low class people with no sense of pride.  Clearly they never learned that lesson growing up. It's really not that hard. My kids are grownups and the camp with their families.   They don't leave garbage when they go home. That's because when they were kids they helped me pick up the garbage, both ours and the stuff that was already there, before we went home. They learned that how you leave things reflects on you and on others like you who like to camp and hunt. One pig who leaves trash, chops on live trees, leaves a gate open or drives across the meadow influences the way the people who don't hunt or camp view all of us who do. It's just a selfish lazy attitude and it disgusts me.  I hunted in Utah with a friend who was from there. He told me you won't see trash and you won't see locals hunting on Sunday. He was pretty much right. I was impressed. That was years ago but it was a good thing. Of course we hunted on Sunday.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart
He made wide open spaces from the start
He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again

We bring extra garbage bags. Extremely rare to find a nice camp site without garbage.
