Wanted to share a pile COONS the wife and daughter shot out of a tree at the place this summer! They had a blast shooting those darn rodents! Daughter would laugh after mom shot one and it tumbled down the tree and thud hit the ground.

Coon hunting is a lot of fun, I wished we had more coons where I live! Looks like your dogs are doing great!

Had a great night last night! Went to a new area which was little ways from home and it turned out to be littered with varmints. Not much conservation last night just a lot of killing  We treed a couple singles, caught one on the ground, treed four together and had two disappear into den trees. All in all it was a good night. We had  a whole fleet of dogs out they all work hard and well together

Love seeing others interested in this sport!  I'm hoping we get some sort of running season on coons after attending a public input meeting but I'm not sure there's enough voices out there expressing it even though there probably isn't a lot of resistance.  WDFW guy seemed really receptive of the idea to some degree.

We've been out half a dozen times this year...need to get out more.  Treed 4 last weekend but dog pulled off the tree.  She's coming into heat so that may have something to do with it since she's never really done that.  11 month old pup was with her every step of the way and treed too...excited about that.

Seems as though everyone's having a good season so far! Our dogs are young we've managed to kill two so far but it's tough finding areas that hold raccoons and is public land with no houses!
