Round trip air from Seattle $320, rental car $380,Bush flight round trip $1,170, Moose tag $400, Groceries $100, $75 fuel for rental car          Total $2445

That's a steal for the airfare from seattle.........how much did it cost to get the meat and antlers home?

That's what I was going to ask.  Getting the meat/antlers home has always been a major concern of mine.  I've wanted to do blacktail/black bear hunts up there and have been nervous about it.

A life long friend has a gold claim near the Alaskan range.  An Alaskan resident and I hunted.  Private airstrip

Both moose are being processed, should be done in a week or two my buddy will haul all the meat home in chest freezers

I'm not sure.  You can pull 600-800 pounds of meat off of a mature bull
