Razor Clamming and RV's - Driving on the Beach
« on: September 25, 2014, 08:10:18 AM »
I am shopping for a class C RV to take the family on a few adventures.  I feel like I have narrowed my choice down to something in the 20 -24 foot length.  I would like to have something that I can drive out on the beach for razor clam digs and have fairly good odds of not getting stuck.  Anyone else take their rv out on the beach and have some tips?  Any concerns with taking larger rvs out on the sand?

I am not looking for people to hypothesize scenarios, but would really like feedback from folks that have real world experience with their rv on the beach.

Thanks

Use a solid beach approach and stay on the hard sand. I take mine out all the time.
