Morning Canvas
« on: September 27, 2014, 10:59:20 AM »
Sun was just coming up. Orange light hitting the hill but not direct yet.   Liked the canvas.   Reminds me of the excitement of glassing your first deer on opening morning.

Neat pic, Bone.

Great pic! Reminds me of the stalk I put on a doe last Sunday. Spotted her bedded in some sage brush just after first light with another doe close by feeding. Probably did 200 yards in my socks. Got all the way to where they were bedded and a chipmunk in a pine tree blew my cover. Both does locked in on me and proceeded to stomp and snort before bailing. had one at 50 yards broadside but didn't feel like taking a shot on an alarmed animal.

Thanks for posting such great pics. That one in particular just brought last week's hunt flowing back into my head big time.
Every thought of my being is in regards to being a high tech predator and I relish the role.
