Protecting Flocked Goose Heads

1st time I've had flocked goose heads and was wondering if anyone does anything to protect the flocking other than putting the heads in with the bodies in a slot bag? Socks? Grocery store plastic bags?

I use an old sock lol. The decoys are not mine, a buddy left them with me since he moved to an apartment so i take as good of care of them as i can. The sock works great.

Many guys I hunt with use black socks.  The reason for black is, it helps prevent white lint on the heads.  It works well for protecting the flocking.  Other option is to individually bag them.

I use blk socks on the heads/necks and old T-shirts over the rest of the body plus they're in 6pk full body bags. No sense buying realistic looking decoys and all that cash out lay if you're going to mess them all up so they look bad. Take care of your good equipment.

If these are removable heads, the socks work. I they are solid full bodies, I had good luck at goodwill getting the thickest and softest pillow cases that I could find. they seem to work better than the canvas type bags. the only problem is when they get wet and it freezes.

Women's nylons. You can cut them up into little sections and make one pair go a long ways. That's what we use on all our flocked heads. They are stretchy and light but do the trick to protect the flocking.
