My daughter pulled a cow tag for the Yale unit and her best friend has 500 acers
up against DNR land. We scouted last saturday and located some fresh sign.

Anyone? Probably just about everyone close to town. We tried it for a half a day on the opener of muzzleloader last season. Counted 45 rigs. It was awesome!
It's to easy for people to road hunt that unit or park and do a short hike.

Used to be GREAT! But how many cow tags can you give out in a unit that small year after year after year and expect it to remain a good unit unless you get A BUNCH of snow. Has really been disappointing the past three years. 500 acres!...that's like 30% of the original Yale boundary!!!
Good luck to your daughter. Should be a good level of difficulty for a youth! Just hope one of the cows that are left wanders by her. That would be fantastic

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer? I replied, "Nope."
