In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I have that same bow, thats what they changed for 2014. The cams tear up the string so I got a string with a warenty right before my factory sting was about to break.

They changed the cams or changed to a different kind of string for 2014?  Is this a known problem for Charger's before 2014?

changed the cam, yes i went on some archery forums and a lot of people had that problem. I heard about hoyt giving the 2014 cams to people when it happened in the first month. My friend had this problem and just bought a new bow after he went through 4 strings in two months

Thanks.

I too looked at some archery discussion boards and noticed the same thing.  I'm going to give my new string a try and see what happens.  If it starts to get frayed or break then I'll take it back to the store and see if I can get new cams.  The reason I got a "good bow" was so that I wouldn't have to worry about something like a string snapping (at least very often).  If the store or Hoyt won't replace the cams at no cost then I guess I would have to consider paying for new ones myself.
