I was antelope hunting up between the Teton and Marias rivers off the bootlegger and only saw 10 deer in 3 days. We did see a moose down by the Teton though.

Im headed over to fort peck lake the 14th, awesome place, love seeing 50+ deer a day and the insane rutting mulies. last year it went from 60 degrees to -20 in less then 48 hours so that was a bit crazy

Obviously you probably already know this.  But the CMR closes on November 15 for Mulies.

Get a spotting scope and go watch the brutes that hang out on the east side of the lake.

That part of eastern mt is my homeland.

You must be in 700 then.  Never hunted that part of the CMR.

Just checked the weather forecast for our hunting location. We are leaving the 15th and it is supposed to be warm until the 11th and then cool off a bunch and snow  :IBCOOL: Should really get the big boys all hot and bothered. Can't wait!

Tagged out My son shot his first deer only had the tag an hour. It was a great hunt saw tons of deer every day, but man was it cold the first couple of days -10 at night. My son got his deer on BLM land about an hour from camp by the time we got it back it was dark and cold really cold. The deer was freezing faster then we could skin it darn beer froze after one drink :bash: lol. I'll be back  :IBCOOL:
