Archery, but this year I will be using a muzzle loader that I built so that might become my new favorite until I build a bow.

 :yeah:
Only thing that stinks is I paid the $$$ for the multi season tag and attached a tag on a deer at 0615 on September 1st.  Maybe one of these days I won't shoot the first animal I see.  I just enjoy the meat way too much and tag soup sucks!!  I prefer the archery hunting though.

I do most of my killing with my longbow.  Besides the challenges it presents, I am usually lucky enough to pursue other things with my camera later on.

:chuckle: I let a 4x4 20" mulie walk during elk hunting. He was at 22 yards and I couldn't ruin my elk hunt by taking him.. I may end up kicking myself for it.

I've got a multi-season, but the weather during early bow season is nice to be out in. Least favorite is muzzle loader since the damn thing hardly ever goes off on the first cap...

I have hunted archery and modern firearm. Never tried muzzleloader but I am thinking of buying one this spring and getting a multi season tag.

I like modern firearm the best because I like guns. I own quite a few of them and hunting with one gives me a chance to put them and my skills with them to use. Although I am primarily a handgunner, I shoot rifles quite a bit and enjoy them very much. My goal is to take a deer with a handgun at some point in the near future. I could have filled my 2nd deer tag with my .44 last year but elected to leave it in the holster and use my Winchester Model 64 in .32 Winchester Special for the 50 yard shot. I don't hunt with that rifle a lot and I always have a handgun on my person (whether hunting or otherwise, unless prohibited by law) so I took the opportunity to harvest a deer with my Great Grandfather's hunting rifle. It was cool to shoot a deer with a rifle that my Great Grandfather, Grandfather, Great Uncle, and uncle have used to kill deer, elk, coyotes, and bear with.

Archery.  I have been hunting with my bow for so long that I hate the idea of hunting with a rifle.  With that said, this year I will be hunting with my 14 year old daughter during modern deer.  She will hunt with her .243 and I will be using my bow, shotgun or a hand gun.  Right now I am leaning towards hunting with my .357 mag.

I like the idea of the .357.   Idabooner carried the .41 a lot while I was a youngster getting my feet wet.

I truly love all three for their own unique traits and challenges. Needless to say I buy the multi season tag every year.
