Exit 68 off of Southbound I-5 Highway 12 East towards Morton/Yakima thats the road you need.  :)

Welcome to the site it will help if you leave a little more information, which weapon you drew tag for, what kind of experience you have, how much time you will be spending going after the tag and so forth.

Get a map and start looking at public land that has access. Best of luck to you

There's a State Park at Lake Mayfield. Camp there and hike out of camp and hunt.

If I mistakenly drew a permit I didn't want, I would turn it in and ask that my points be restored.

Just sayin'.  :dunno:

Not much public land in 505. But there is a little DNR land, you'll just need a Discover pass and a good map.

Can't return the tag after you draw and get your points back. You can call before the draw and make changes. I did that last year saving 8 points on a mistaken quality bull draw in an off unit I picked.
Check out Peterman Hill off of 12.
Whatever........

Yes, you can have your points restored if you can show that you mistakenly drew a permit. It's written right into the law, I've seen it.
