Well, its official, next year I'll be headed to Idaho to hunt archery Elk (finally)!! As much as I like hunting solo, I think its best to try and link up with some other archery hunter(s) that would be interested in the hunt.
Here's a little info on the hunt:
Sept 18-30th
Panhandle
A tag
Bivy/basecamp style hunting
scouting will start in Jul-Aug
I don't classify myself as HARDCORE, but I'm damn close to it. I hunt hard all day every day, as thats what I'm there to do. Interested parties should be capable of hunting hard each day and be proficient at calling, setups. and shooting... Should also have some basic experience hunting backcountry, and the gear involved.
