Thank you again, all! A local taxidermist came to look at the cape this morning and took it off my hands.. It was nice.. I went inside to get my special permit and came back out and he was telling the younger guy that normally people don't take that good care of capes and this was the exception not the rule.  :IBCOOL: yay for taking good care of such an awesome animal!

Took a quick effort to put a tape to him.. Only tried for about 30 seconds but his 3rd from the last points are 48 inches wide. (As measured at my taxidermist's) He may be wider elsewhere but I am thrilled!
