When Jeff showed me those photo's of your moose at work I told him that you needed to kill THAT MOOSE. I;m glad you did and I bet he makes BC.
Nice going

I'm so glad he has a workplace that let him come play! Gosh, it was amazing to have him there for that morning. What an awesome human!

I hear congrats are in order for you, too... Ram down??

:chuckle:
My mom knocked down a cow elk with her clockum muzzleloader antlerless tag last night while I was toying with bugling bulls.. It was over 70 degrees at 7pm so we made the call to get her skinned and in a walk-in cooler. Waiting for my father to be ready to head back for another afternoon hunt!

There ya go. Supposed to cool off by the weekend so that should help. Good luck out there!

Great Bull

Until i draw my own moose tag this is how i get to hunt them every year, through the stories and photos, thanks for a great hunt.. :)
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

i'm going to show my 7 year old daughter this thread tonight.  we've talked about her doing hunter safety when she's 9, and she told me she wants to shoot a moose for her first animal!   :yike:   :chuckle:

your father was smart to start putting you in at an early age.  I plan to do the same with both my kids.  with luck they'll have the same great experience you did!  well done!
