Always check your nipple and breech for any blockage. Simple pipe cleaner sticks or a piece of wireworks well.

Hope you got it done this evening! I always pull the nipple and breech plug and clean them well so I know it will light off.

Before loading I always snap a cap and then blow down the barrel to see if smoke comes out the nipple, if so, it's clear and I load away. Good luck tomorrow!
BTW, hard to get a misfire with the Bowtech....

Always burn a cap before loading. Then I blow down the barrel to make sure it is not plugged. Sometimes the little wafer in the cap gets stuck in the nipple and other times the hole in the nipple can get plugged.

So here's my story of early muzzy so after opening morning having 5 caps pop but no boom Iv seen the elk every day and I started work late everyday except Friday last day of elk. So I saw the elk the whole season every morning I saw the elk they were on the wrong fields that I didn't have permission to hunt and in the evening there was a loner cow coming in to farmers apple tree minutes after it got dark but on the last day I took the wife and kids for a drive out to the farm and guess what wife spots on the property I can hunt there was a cow elk so I got out of truck loaded gun and off I go thru the open fields with barly any cover so I made it to tree line and walked the tree line to the cow the first time I ranged I was 203 yards away so I kept going next rang was 150 and loosing light so kept going next range was 90 yards so I got set up to shoot and the wind changed direction I believe because I saw the cow sticker her head up and turn around and walk back in to trees didn't see her anymore it was fun muzzy hunt learn a lot about different caps and lil kits to carry with in the hunt so I'll be ready for late season I also got the Toledo muzzy cow tag in December to fall on to if I don't tag out somewhere else and I bought St. Helens access permit to. Good luck everybody
