Not sure, maybe you should pray and find out... :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Why aluminum?  Not that I am apposed to aluminum, but having shot both I prefer carbon.  I am no pro, but It will depend on your tip weight in grains.  That is a long arrow and it appears you are on the cusp with the 400 / 340...I thing the 340 would be a better choice for a 60 lbs bow with 31" arrow.  I would place a 125 grain tip broadhead on it.   :twocents:

Nice to see another "fingers" shooter.    I have some spare arrows from my first compound.  After a limb delaminated I switched to a release and overdraw so the old arrows just sit.   Most are unused.   They are 2315 in Autumn Orange and 32 1/2 inches in length.   If that interests you, send me a PM.

I may have 3 dozen.

What draw length do you have with the recurve? What length will the arrows be cut to? Lots of variables to take in to account.  At the bottom of that page there is a spine selections chart.

Also this link may help you out a bit.  http://www.3riversarchery.com/SpineCalculator.asp?pass=2

You can PM me if you have a lot of specific questions.

After reading your other thread I realized that the Kodiak is a compound not a recurve.  I assumed that you had a bear Kodiak recurve.  400's would be a little lite.  I would go with the 340's if you want the Gamegetters.

400's would be more than a little lite in spine.  Even the 2216 at .375 spine is going to be a little lite.  360 to 340 spine should be your target with the 125 grain point.  31 3/8"...you must be built like a gorilla :chuckle:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
